Contact us to hear more about training workshops
Both online and onsite training workshops are offered for new users of our software. In cooperation with our partners, courses are offered in Aalborg, Denmark and elsewhere in the world.
Onsite training for up to 5 consecutive workdays at your premises in which you can participate in lectures and build your own AnyBody model supervised by one of our instructors. After having completed the training, you will have the necessary knowledge to continue updating and refining your models without us.
Online training workshops conducted in 10 * 3-hour online sessions and will cover both basic and more advanced musculoskeletal modeling and simulation techniques.
I am extremely pleased with the services offered by AnyBody Technology, particularly their support voucher. The support voucher allows the student to get personalized help on their projects, ensuring the students gain a deeper understanding of the tool and get adequate help with coding when needed. Ultimately, it enables the students to deliver their projects on time as these are 3 month projects only and so time management is essential.
At the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien we have been using the AnyBody Modeling System for more than a decade now. AnyBody helps us to teach students biomechanics and musculoskeletal simulation by starting with the basics. The ability to create models from scratch and visualize the basic elements of a model and their properties helps beginners understand the underlying concepts and allows them to interpret results, modify existing models and create new models. And it's great that AnyBody support is available when students need help with models for their Master's thesis, that even their supervisors are struggling with.
In our lab we have been using the AnyBody Modeling System for the last several years for final projects of our master’s students at University College London. It is a great tool to introduce the students to biomechanical analysis. They usually collect their own experimental data and analyze it in the AnyBody Modeling System, gaining insights into loading in joints and muscles. If existing models are used, it removes the need for the student to have to be competent in coding, opening up modelling to non-engineering students.
The training we received in the AnyBody Modeling System was extremely valuable for us and an investment in our team’s development. The sessions were well-structured and delivered with clarity, allowing us to build our understanding step by step. The course provided us with a much clearer perspective on the capabilities of musculoskeletal modelling, which we will benefit from in our research.
Space Applications Services and AnyBody Technology participated together in several successful projects aiming at developing the next generations of astronauts’ health and sports equipment. The AnyBody Technology framework supported the improvement of the training protocols and the evaluation of the efficiency of our newly developed devices by simulating lower-limbs resistive exercises (SOLEUS project) and full-body jumps (NEX4EX project). The musculoskeletal simulations allowed Space Applications Services to reinforce further the safety of our sport exercisers before the first clinical tests campaigns and to progress faster on optimizing the design of our products.
Thanks to the AnyBody Modeling System and the amazing supports from its engineers, we were able to successfully finish our patient repositioning project and publish two articles on top-tier journals. The AnyBody Modeling System helped us scaling the model according to the anthropometry of each subject, reconstructing kinematic movements and performing inverse dynamics analyses to estimate muscle forces and joint loads.
Biomechanical simulations with the AnyBody Modeling System™ made it possible to quantify and determine key design parameters of the Active Motion™ technology very early in the design phase. The key parameters could only have been found through simulations.
The AnyBody Modeling System can simulate trunk muscles that cannot otherwise be measured by normal myoelectricity. In addition, it can calculate joint forces that cannot be captured easily, which makes the software essential for correct estimation of the effect of our exoskeleton. The results and visualizations are additionally used in our promotional videos and has received great feedback from our customers.
I am responsible for the design and development of joint replacements prostheses and have worked with AnyBody Technology for the past 15 years to evaluate skeletal joint reaction forces and motions. Our collaborations have evaluated both static and dynamic conditions including simulation a physical training exercise with motion capture to account for acceleration of body mass. Other simulations have determined the magnitude and direction of the joint reaction force resulting from external forces applied to a limb and from maximum isometric contraction of joint function muscles. Evaluations of skeletal joint mechanics conducted by AnyBody have proven to be important and necessary part of the joint replacement design and development process.
At Scripps Health, CA, we have successfully used the AnyBody Modeling System to investigate and gain valuable insights into the biomechanics of the shoulder joint for optimizing surgical procedures. The innovative software allows us to explore scenarios, test solutions and make qualified estimations of properties inside the body, which are otherwise mostly impossible or unethical to measure. The AnyBody Modeling System has proven to be a critical part of our research process when testing and developing new products and surgical approaches across the spectrum of body sizes and body shapes. We also greatly appreciate the research, technical, and customer support from the dedicated people at AnyBody Technology, for providing advice and support for issues during challenging simulations.
It’s like having a toolbox filled with intuitive solutions. I can test ideas, explore scenarios and create something new without being slowed down by technical challenges. It has changed the way we think in our industry. Our limitations are not dictated by technological requirements, but rather by our own creativity.
