This information day is targeted at development engineers working in the field of implant and prostheses design.
Simulation software -broadly established in "classic" engineering- can help to improve and to optimize implants and prostheses and it is important to adjust these to loads appearing during daily activities. To get these loads as boundary conditions for a Finite Element Analysis it is very helpful to use the AnyBody Modeling System.
The information day will give you an overview about the software Mimics and 3-matic developed by Materialise and used for segmentation and construction of CAD-geometries out of patient individual CT datasets, the use of the Finite Element Software ANSYS to determine weak points in the implant design and the AnyBody Modeling System to calculate realistic boundary conditions for ANSYS.
The information day is free of charge but attendees have to register due to organization reasons. It takes place in Stuttgart and the language will be German. This link will lead you to the agenda and registration form at the webpage of our distribution partner CADFEM GmbH.
