6-9 Jul: ESB2008 (European Society of Biomechanics), Lucerne, Switzerland

Join us July 6-9, 2008 for the 16th Congress of the European Society of Biomechanics to be held July 6th - 9th, 2008 in Lucerne, Switzerland.

In cooperation with the European Society for Biomaterials and TERMIS (Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society), special sessions will highlight cross-discipline research. The growing importance of simulation for biomechanical research, pre-clinical evaluation, diagnostics and treatment will be addressed in a session focusing on theVirtual Physiological Human (VPH) framework. Breakout sessions are planned exploring EU funding programs, biomechanical and biomedical education, industrial collaboration and translational research.Further details about the conference, scientific topics and the online abstract submission process are available on this website: http://www.esb2008.org
