Reference manual

The reference pages for the AnyBody system contains concise accounts of the classes, objects etc. in the AnyBody Modeling System.

Technical software like AnyBody is frequently updated, and to make sure that the manual always follows the software, a system for automatic generation of the manual pages directly from the source code of the software has been devised.

Currently, the reference pages consist of the following documents:

  • The AnyScript Reference Manual is a pdf document that contains precise descriptions of the classes in the AnyScript language. The AnyScript language is the AnyBody Modeling System's modeling language and its classes are the basic building blocks for making models. All properties of these classes are systematically described in tables and additional introductory sections describe general features of the language.
  • Errors, Warnings and Other Messages is a html page describing all text messages in the message system introduced with version 2.0 of The AnyBody Modeling System. This covers most messages to the user in the Report View of AnyBody's GUI application. The reference page contains  a general introduction to the message system, short descriptions of all messages and an index based on message identification codes.
